If I have something that belongs to you, or that you want from me and I have been slow to respond lately it is because I have overloaded myself. As many of you know, I have a hard time saying "No" when it comes to helping someone out. Recently my plate has become overwhelmingly full. Here is the status update that should cover most of the pm's and emails, I hope.

1. Vector Test Aids will be ready to ship Friday
2. Raster Test Aids will be ready to ship Friday (I hope)
3. Stargate Harness' will be ready to ship Weds (All of them)
4. Williams power supplies will be ready to ship Friday (All of them)
5. Quantum Harness and Reactor Harness will be spec'd out and ready for return no later than Friday
6. Sinistar Sound Set will be ready to ship by Friday
7. 720 Video harness will be ready to ship Friday
8. Moon Patrol cocktail harness, I am not sure just yet
9. Great Swordsmen I need a couple measurements before I can do a cost estimate

Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything.

I am still transferring files to my new iMac, still not quite used to the subtle differences between PC and Mac.

If that raster test aid is for testing monitors without pulling them out of your machine, or making my own connector, etc. I would be interested in one of them as well. No hurry on that though. Hell no hurry on the greatswordsman adaptor either. I still need to pick up a cab to put it in.

Hey Dave,
what exactly does the vector test aid consist of?
I probably missed the description somewhere (haven't been on here much lately)
I also would like to say to anyone who is on the fence about buying anything from our old friend Dokert should not hesitate, his stuff is top notch!!.

Well I wondered about what the vector test aid would be so I entered "vector test aid" in the search function here and presto:

Have to admit I was a little dissappointed as I was expecting some kind of PCB that would generate some testing signals, not just a wire extender...I find the name somewhat misleading...

Still, I've got one of those extenders (bought it from e-bay though, not sure if you also made that Dokert ?) and it's a great help to be able to work on the monitors (just) outside the cab instead of inside it (esp. on the SW cockpit monitors !). Mine has all blue wires and really thick one's. Very professional quality.

The Raster Test Aid is just that. It is a straight pass through for Raster monitors.

The Vector Test Aid is a set of straight pass through extensions. There is a B/W harness for 19V2000 & G05-802 & 805's. The color harness is set for a 6100.

It was not my intent to mislead anyone, sorry about that.

I made a couple of prototypes that were white wire with blue stripe, send me a pic and I will tell you if it is one of mine.

Dokert, you're a good guy, so I'm going to help you out with your problem. Can I have 20 bucks?

Is there a sign up list for the vector and raster aids? Or will it be people that have previously PM'ed you?

I believe the sign up for the products is over and he is just filling the orders placed. David, hold on the reactor harness as I've got to send you the other pieces tomorrow...no sense in duplicating a return shipment.

I made 20+ sets. I haven't made up the list yet. It will be made from pm's and the Vector Test Aid thread. I will try to get it posted in the "for sale" thread in the next few days.

Sounds like a plan to me.

Could you describe what you have planned for the 720 Video Harness?

Normal video for a 720 uses individual +V & +H sync on a 4900 med res monitor.

When changing to a monitor that is not a 4900, sync seems to be a problem. 720 has the capability to put out - comp sync simply by changing the video wiring. The change in video wiring seems to cure the problems with sync when not using a 4900.

The 720 video harness that has been requested is being made for - comp sync.

Correct and should be useful for System 2 owners. The 720 Manual shows that both connectors are actually on the harness, comp and separate syncs. I'd have to check to see if that is true for 720, but it may be useful to make your harness like that as some may want to upgrade the current harness. Also, if you are selling these to others you may want to sell it as a System 2 video harness, ie 720, Paperboy, APB, Championship Sprint, and Super Sprint.

Hey Dokert the PS mod you made for the Moon Patrol HArness worked like a champ
anyone need to adapt over to a switching power supply should have one :D

Agreed, Once my dumb ass figured out how to hook up my existing AC harness to work with Dok's DC harness and switcher adapter, it worked perfectly. Still not sure why the coin door light wires weren't integrated thru the adapter to the switcher though.

The harness in question was pretty hacked, in many different locations in the past. Wasn't planning on making these for sale, didn't know there was a need. This was one of many individual requests that I have received. Making this dual capable is not a problem.

Coin door lights were not incorporated, because I had no intentions on selling this mod. Coin door lights could be added easily by using the -5vdc off of the switcher because it is not used.

Thank You.

I used the 5V, are you telling me I coulda used the -5V? Sweet! The 5V terminal seems a little crowded right now anyway. I actually tried the +12V first. Man were they bright. Too bad they burned out after an hour.

Yes.

The +12vdc is too much for the #44 or #47 bulbs to handle as they are 6v bulbs.
