Ok, so on my way to do some mailing I picked up 3 tvs on the side of the road. Its the day before garbage pick up.....

All RCA's. The first two i've been able to do a little research
Tube Heater CR
13VAUP22 6.3 18
a48aab11x 6.3 24

The third, I have no clue
TV Model: EC 393S, Chassis CTC87
Other serial/model number on our around the tube:
rwb27478313
nbgg7080
j463766 / 502
I believe I counted 10pin on the yoke.

Also doing a search for these on here and all I could find was the:
A48aab11x http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=223996&highlight=a48aab11x

Any help/advice would be great on either keeping or disposing would be appreciated. Worst case, if I can't use them, hope someone else can. By that I mean give them away.

I don't know of anything that uses the CR18 pinout, so the first one has little value except for maybe the neckboard.

The second one may be useful for a WG 6100 replacement or possibly a Hantarex. Does it have any raised number codes in the glass? Usually they will be near along the bottom of the tube and close to the face.

The third one does not look like any tube code I have ever seen. Again, the neck board is likely useful but not much else unless you can find a code for us to match up.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I'm going to have to do a full diss-assembly of the TVs. To see if I can find those Raised Number or any other numbers. I'll update when I'm finished.

Every tube that I have ever seen has, as part of its casting, a number that reads something like 'V90' or '100'. This is the number I was asking about. If I remember correctly the WG 6100 tube was a 100 degree tube. However, it is very likely that I am mixing it up with the Amplifone tubes. Either way 90 degree is the standard and if it isn't marked I would assume a 90 degree tube.

Heh.. This is what I do.. Not the most technical, but it works..

I bring a couple neck pcbs with different pinouts to the dump. Crack open 19" and 25" tvs and first see if they have skinny or fat necks (19"). Skinny always fit k7000 chassis.. Fat usually fit 4600, 4900, go7, and some others.. Then test the neck pcb for each type on tube.. 25" are usually all the same.

If I like the tube I'll bring it home then test the yoke. Most fat neck yokes don't match up well to arcade chassis.. But the skinny neck k7000 type usually one out of 3 will be close enough..

What range would be "close" enough for the k7000 horiz and vert? I think I have a tube that might work.

Aquired another group of tv's this week.

In the lot was another a48aab11x cr24, 90 degrees though.

If anyone is interest in this and wants to try to convert it to a vector tube. Its free to anyone local-ish.
