Game works and plays fine. Sound is not working, no hum from speakers.

I have replaced both tda2030 amps and big caps and the two other caps. As well as the 7815 regulator.

One diode tested bad, and had no effect on audio. Probably not in the audio portion. All resistors test good.

I reflowed all of the header pins as well. Only other odd thing is putting fresh coin door bulbs in results in them burning out at about 25 seconds.

I do have a similar audio pcb in road blasters, it is identical but a different rev. And uses a 7812 instead of a 7815. Could I swap it in to test or vice versa. Or would that hose em?

Additionally, there are no errors in test mode.

Thanks

just to close out my rookie mistake. always check your fuses =o....forgot that at one point during my troubleshooting that i forgot one of the most basic items. on the bright side, audio board stuff is cheap, and it has a lot of new parts =). the sound of this game really makes a difference.

....and now that new bulbs are in, they no longer burn out.

fuses do affect the coin door bulbs in this game, because those two fuses route 12vac hi / 12vac lo through/to the audio board...which also the coin door left/right lights 6.3v plug goes directly to(header on audio board) and back to the power section of the cpu board.

so no power to the audio board, no coin door lights.
