maybe im getting old or i just didn't dig having to constantly roll a track ball to get bently bear movin! the lit trackball is cool, but could a joy been more enjoyable?

Some of the moves in CC require the acceleration of a trackball... Seems like it would be impossible to get a "running jump" to leap over a line of enemies with a stick.

have tried this on one of the game consoles, it's aweful with joystick. the fast rolling acceleration helps with this game and precise control.

I've played the Marble Man prototype that has joysticks instead of track balls and it's not really that fun. I think part of the fun of these track ball games is the more physical movements you use to play the game. Boatdrinks is right about needing the track ball to pull off some of the jumps in CC. I doubt it would be an easy fit but the only joystick that might accommodate the game play needs of CC might be the hall effects joystick.

Are you sure your trackball is set correctly, and has good, working parts? It shouldn't be a chore.
