Restoring a CC upright. I have the 3 pc art set from Arcade Renovations from many moons ago. I've read that people are generally unhappy with the way the light shines through the marquee. I will have to use a new overlay, since the one on the game is broken at the wood like a hinge.

Should I go ahead and use the repro or hold out for someone to do a more accurate set? I'm guessing this is all we have for the foreseeable future?

I suppose I could strip it back off and redo it someday or maybe it's not that big of deal?

your choices are pretty limited there. Ive got the same marquee but havnt used it.
my orginal really isnt that bad. but in your case it would be better then nothing
if and when a new one ever surfaces you could always just redo it.
maybe difuse the light alittle if tis really that bad

I'm going to have to have Brett CNC cut me a new wood piece. You're right, I can difuse the light if it's too much. There are sleeves that go over the bulb. I'll probably just go with it and see how I like it.

I ended up buying a second crystal castles just to steal the marquee from because the Arcade Renovations one looked so shitty once it was backlit.
