I have a Crystal Castles that is completely dead. All fuses check out fine, no burnt connectors anywhere, no burn marks on ar board. Is it possible that the big blue has failed and needs replacing?

Thanks,

Joe

For starters, try a new Big Blue then an AR/II rebuild?

Man that is good to hear! You just got that gem!

It is in great shape and clean. All that is left is to replace the marquee bulb & starter. I will probably do a rebuild on the trackball as well. I definetly need practice on this game, I can't break 40,000.

Warp to level 3 on the first maze and you'll have 140,000 points ;)

Wear the hat, ride the elevator up, run to the bottom of the hidden ramp and press jump.

The last one is easier- I can't remember which level, but it is NOT the first one in a set. There is a Crossroads maze. Simply make it up to the back corner of the maze and jump.

Time the elevator on the right while getting the hat so you don't waste time waiting for the elevator to come down.

Level 5-3. It is defintely easier, but you need to beat the two levels to get to it and then you might have trouble with the nasty tree getting to the warp spot...
