crystal castles cocktail monitor, video scrolling upwards

http://limelinx.com/files/fa23a517ecc356eaf1501f5aaaa6c167

i have a crystal castles cocktail that was having sync issues. my cousin reattached sync wires that were loose and the picture went from being garbled to being the correct game image but scrolling quickly up / down. there is a pot on my monitor board, v-hold, with a plastic dial that i can turn to adjust this. as i turn it it speeds up scrolling in one direction. i can get it to freeze for a few seconds and then it loosens itself up and scrolls again. what should i do? included above is a link to a video of my monitor's behavior. thank you

check the resistors at r314 and 317 should be 390 ohm 1/4 watt , see if they have gone out of range or opened up. some GO7's I have never had luck stopping the roll , others work out fine . you should also throw a deluxe cap kit at this , they usually have bad flys and dried caps. also the hold pot , meter the range on that , see if it bounces when you adjust , you may be replacing that as well.

there are three sync wires bound together. two (a brown one and a purple one) go from pins 17 and 18 on my game board and connect to a third white one which is going directly to my monitor board.

FIXED! the three sync wires i had attached were not correct. two of the sync wires needed to be attached to maintain the vertical scrolling picture i linked earlier, and then the third wire needed to be connected to a fourth wire i had not noticed previously that was taped off. i connected those two and the picture corrected itself and locked in place :D

welcome back bentley bear!
