Cry

Vids - how about the 500 UDOT last week in Il. that was listed as "Tron" and was scored by Morecowbell here in Klov (thanks to another member here getting it for him)? He was looking for awhile, nice to see him land one finally.

Yeah, seeing these things hurts / makes me want to cry (less so when another Klov'r gets it of course) - but from time to time luck finds you!

Oh - 2500 for an AFM - that Pin is easily 5k+ lately. Its insane.

$5k for AFM really!! I must be out of the loop on that. That is insane!!

I'm not saying you can't get good deals. Vids are a lot easier in my opinion. I got a Star Wars w/ amp in HUO condition for $250. Of course, that was before cell phone alerts.
The pin guys around here are much more aggressive. It is much harder to get a good pin deal. If the $200 price was real, I just want to know how much the person paid for it to let it go for that price. I hope it is true, that is why we keep hunting, but my bullshit meter is very sensitive in these cases.

Yeah, AFM has gone off the charts.

I owned one @ 4k. Sold it a year later, untouched when i had it, for 4500.

I have spoken to 6 guys with AFM in the last year - they easily sold them at 6k+. Alot of people are thinking its the "little" MM, a more affordable way to gain access to the same designers game. Besides that of course, it is a good game.

No regrets selling at what i did, it was good timing for me. But agree, the market is a little out of control. All other Pins (alisters) like TZ, Addams family, etc have been selling much higher than last year.

I just watch and observe - its fun to see the trends.

Wow, a $200 STTNG puts my $1,100 STTNG CL deal to shame. Congrats to whomever scored that. Hopefully they really wanted it and appreciate it. It is my favorite game too and I doubt I would ever sell it.

What's even better about this one besides the price is that it's an early sample game.

You can tell because it has the domed red lights on the lower guns, production games had flush insert-like lenses in those.

I just saw a STTNG rotting away in a forest (someone's backyard) a few weeks ago, playfield and all. It was kind of disturbing...

We here on this forum always hear about great deals and scores from time to time on video games. One can assume that there are pin deals as well.

There are, but $200 for a Star Trek definitely falls under the "too good to be true" threshhold.

$1k is even pushing it. $2k is a "great deal". They can go for 5k in the right shape.
