All,
For Cruis'n USA, World. When paired these have an option for a large topper. I do not have the ceiling room for this. I think this topper would light for the player in the lead. I may be wrong. If it does was thinking it would be nice to make something to light and show who is leading. From manuals I have can not tell where wiring would connect and what output for lights 6V or 12V? Any info in the right direction would be helpful.
Thank you
Andy

Yes, it lights the number for the person in the lead. I believe it's 12V lamp. Ping me to remind me to check my setup this weekend.

Found something online in Cruis'n USA linking kit manual about connecting leader lamp orange-violet to location P-7 on wheel board. Will give it a try.

Looking at P7 on wheel board. It is a 10 pin connector with pin at location 9 not present. Or second pin from top as mounted in the game. Would be very helpful to know which wires from the header kit go to which pins. Manual mentions orange and violet.
Thank you

Pins 1 and 2 are for a 12 volt bulb. Pins 3 and 4 are for another. When testing for this with diagnostics it is confusing. During game play each machines bulbs are lit and the machine with player in the lead bulbs flash if I remember correctly. Now to figure out what to hook up. Any suggestions? Led strips behind Marquee, chrome skulls with led eyes ? red and green leds at corner of monitor bezel?

Thanks for the info! I was wondering how to add a leader light to my cruis'n games like the rush has built in. Too bad it flashes when the player is in lead, wanted to do a rotating light like I did on my Rush games.
