Hi,
I'm new to the forums, thanks for having me. My cruis'n just decides to go to a blue screen with white lines across the screen. I tried to check for loose connections, didn't see any. I've only had it for 2 weeks,(bought it from Chattanooga pinball) any suggestions?

Thanks Again

P.S. I can still barely see the game, just has a really strong blue tint with the horizontal lines.

I'm not a monitor guy, but let me get you started. You will need to post the monitor make and model for anyone here to try to help.

Welcome to the forums! Glad to have you.

I would call Dale and tell him your problem. Two weeks isn't very long and he may help you out.

Otherwise, open up the back so you can access the monitor and try turning down the blue....

I have had some luck at rejuving the blue gun to remove what is causing the shortage but not all the time does it work, of course i switch my blue drive transistor to another color to make sure that it is not the culprit.

Bring it in and we will fix no charge or replace and if these are the ones I sold up near Nashville Ricky will be up there delivering Twins in a couple of weeks and he can stop by and fix if you cannot get them to me.

Thats an internal short from the blue gun to heater or a bad driver. Chances are good that you have a Wells U5000 or 7500 in that game. The U5000 tubes are known for this.

Good man for taking care of this for him. There are a lot of places that would have told him to go pound sand.
