Hello.

My Cruis'n USA sit-down cabinet blew a fuse yesterday. It is a 4amp 250volt SB fuse located beneath the transformer on the floor of the cab. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find a diagram of the components in this assembly within the manual to determine what might have blown the fuse.

I have done quite a bit of searching, and read some related topics, but nothing definitively describes troubleshooting this issue that I've seen.

I have some fuses on order, and I'm inclined to order a new switching PS while I'm at it.

If you've got some experience with this, and have any advice to offer, or a schematic for this transformer, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.

unplug the marquee and put a new fuse in and see what happens, midway games are bad about blowing the main fuse when the Ballast in the marquee is bad
Thanks for the reply. Also, I love your YouTube videos; I watch them all of the time.

As for my fuse problem: this cabinet had at one time been converted to a Tokyo Drift machine, and then back to a Cruis'n USA. In the process, it looks like they wired in the switching PS with one set of leads from the transformer, and left another set of leads unused, but still live in the bottom of the cab. Eventually, they touched and blew the fuse.

Very rarely have I ever heard anyone de-convert a game, I know it's possible, but definitely harder than leaving it or converting a game, so glad they brought it back to Cruis'n USA
