Hi guys, got my cruis'n exotica yesterday at the kc auction. I would of liked a dedicated but for the price i couldn't do much better. I have looked at other threads on this but am currently lost as to what to check. This is the usa to exotica conversion. The u8 chip has been replaced in the driver board. When you do a test on the steering the wheel goes to the left and right on its own without any problem. When you start a game the wheel moves on its own for a second. I moved the feedback # to 10 (strongest) . I still am getting no feedback on gameplay? At this point i'm not sure what to check? Would it just be a worn out motor even though it turns on its own on test? Here is a pic of my game(not the best). I'm excited to have this one of my favorites finally. Thanks for the replys.

You might check the mechanical portions of the feedback. I've had trouble with the gears, especially the one on the motor. The set screws get loose over time, and the gears begin to spin on the shafts. Might make it move with no resistance but not when you're holding the wheel. Try holding onto the wheel during the test and see if it gives resistance or doesn't.

Thanks for the quick reply, i actually did kinda grab it to see if it would move and it did still. Granted i didn't hang on tight. I will try again when i'm back down at my shop. Does it sound like a motor issue if it turns with force on test mode?
