Picked up a Cruisn' Exotica yesterday - partial basket case. I tried to power it on, and found the Power Supply was dead. Replaced it and saw LEDs on the PCB and heard the monitor kick on, but no picture, sound, or boot screen.

The previous owner replaced the PCB, and I think he may have connected cables incorrectly. Please look closely at the attached picture and compare to your's and let me know if the cables are connected wrong. Don't want to take a chance of screwing it by poking and hoping (if it's not already too late!).

OR - if you don't mind, just take a quick pic of your's and attach - either way - much appreciated!

Thanks, mongoosetoo

Update - still need help. Found a few pix on web and I think I've got the wiring pretty close now. I may be dealing with a bad pcb. Green, Green, and red lights stay on while orange blinks. I guess that's not a good sign!

So anyone have any info on troubleshooting? Still can't get it to boot.

So the the next night... Reseated all the ROMS by pressing firmly on each, pulled and reseated all cables, tested voltage 4.95 up to 5.2, and hooked up a video conversion card to try to get an image. Results: Now all LEDs are solid, I have no image, sound or otherwise any signs of boot.

Again- any help appreciated!

Thanks.

.

The two lights need to be solid green, an orange blinking and a solid red

If the orange isnt blinking, thst means the game is not working correctly.
