Anyone know a source for a battery replacement for Cruis'n Exotica? It's a M48Z128-85PM1 Zero Power RAM... digikey and mouser don't carry them any more... I find some on ebay but I'd like to know if someone in the hobby sells them as I'd rather pay them some dough than the Chinese...

Also... I may have two good batteries here. You tell me...

Do these lithium batteries charge while just being plugged in OR does the game have to run. The PCB's in question sat for a LONG time... I may simply need to run the games for a few hours to charge the batteries? Not sure how that circuit works... what say you? Currently the High scores will save for short periods but not over night....

No love from the locals? I'd rather give my dough to the hobby than some random guy on ebay or something.

I had a Rush 2049 that had a dead one of these I believe. I temporarily robbed one off of a sportstation PCB to get it running. If you find some one with a dead Vegas, Denver, Zeus, or Durango board, you might be able to get a used one.

Hi guys! Sorry for upping this old thread, but I need the same help with my Crusin Exotica board.
All the EPROMs are good, but the game does not boot due the U26 (M48Z128-85PM1 Zero Power RAM). I ordered a new one from Ebay ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/292499209426 ) its exactly the same, but it still not working (red light on EPROM check at startup).
Before making any test on the board itself (due dust or eprom connectors malfunction), is there any test that I can do on this battery to ensure it's working as it should? The shipping to Brazil was too slow (almost three months to arrive), and i'm affraid the battery discharged over this time.
Thanks in advance!
