There's a same wells gardner 19K7901 (my afterburner model) on eBay I'd like to pickup but it looks like it uses a different tube than the Philips K05X in there now at least in my version of the 19K7901. Also looks like a different chassis board. My chassis is fine and doesn't need replacement. It looks like most of these from the neck board is plug n play (assuming the yoke is the correct size which I'll make sure of before purchase).. BUT I see some wires coming from my chassis to the top of the yoke area that would obviously need to be transplanted on the new crt, can that be done I mean what are those wires for, I assumed the neck board does everything to that crt.. here's a picture..
Thanks!

the neck of the tube is what the neckboard plugs into. the neckboard has nothing to do with the yoke. the K7901 is fully compatible with any of the K71xx and K72xx models, they all use the same yoke. the neckboard pictured has an 8-pin CR-31 socket. if your tube is 10-pin CR-23 you can rob the neckboard from that. you just need to port over the focus (which is definitely soldered into the CR-31 socket) and G2 wires and the blue and white wire plugs are the same (one is hardwired to the neckboard, the other is to the deflection board -- you can't hook them up wrong)

But what about that red wire and copper wire from the neck board to those vertical pins mounted on the tube is that just power or something??

Those vertical pins are the yoke wires. Follow those 4 wires. They should go to a plug that is plugged into the chassis. That stays with the yoke.
