This is probably a long shot.. I have a wells gardner (25k7401) monitor and the tube is bad.. .Screen is really dark and most red is gone.. I verified that the chassis and video input signal are not the issue. I was wondering if anyone in the socal area did tube rejuvination? I called around and none of the tv repair places offer it. One guy hadn't done one in so long he was too nervous to try on my tube.. This is a spare monitor and it's useless to me now so if a rejuv doesn't work then it's equally as useless to me so I wouldn't be too afraid to fail.. that guy may just be lazy.. who knows... Anyway, Thanks to anyone who may be able to help =)

That would be incredible! Thanks! I'm not too far from Temecula.. Do you know how to use it? I would definitly have to educate myself before attempting to use one. I read how to once a long time ago. They seem a little complex

yeah, it has alot of notes and stuff in there should be pretty easy. What adapter do you need I have to make sure its there.

Adaptor... Hmm.. I'm not sure what you're referring to. I'll have to look it up when I'm out of work later today.. I'm nor sure what tube I have.. What happened was I did a monitor swap for a friend after I fixed his chassis and found that his tube was bad. So I just traded him his monitor for a working one that I had sitting around... I know that its a Wells Gardner 25" 7400 chassis and the tube says "made in the USA" on it but I really didn't give it a close look.. I'll find out what adaptor I need in a few hours when I have the time. Thanks!!

Thanks for that. I don't know how I'd have figured that out. hahaha

Post the model # of the tube itself and someone will tell you, or download the manual from the BK Precision web site and look up the model # of the tube.

Quite simple. :D

The only thing printed on the tube anywhere is "made in U.S.A" Then there is a sticker than says "june 06 1996 third shift 2217" My guess is that was put there after the monitor was tested at the factory? Then there are some stickers on the frame at the top of the monitor, one of them says "safety model no. 25k5108" What does this mean? you think the monitor originally was a U5000? I was told that the tube it came out of a golden tee oringally. But I don't see anything that would identify what model tube this thing is.. maybe there was a sticker once that someone ripped off... ?
