I want to replcae the vinyl on my crossbow cabinet to give that fresh, minty look.
I have read other threads about it trying to match it up, and nobody has had any luck. Since, no one has come up with a match and original is long gone, there are 3 that come to mind that might work. Something thats close, since the original material is not around anymore.

1. pica from happ
2. leather texture from arcadeshop
3. Morocco style from quarterarcade

Recommenadations anyone, choices????

Is what Arcadeshop and Quarterarcade sell actually different stuff?

That I dont know, I just saw what they listed for vinyl. Arcadeshop doesnt have a name on the website

I have a Who Dunit and am looking for a match of it's vinyl ... It's definitely not leather but it's also not a Cheyenne or Crossbow cab either ;)

I'm kind of stuck because I want it to be as close as possible to original. I did find some 3M stuff that was much closer to what I need but it's way too expensive...

Thats the thing, I dont know if we can match something up that was made back in the 80's. Just to get it close, would be good

Nah... I've not pulled the trigger on that purchase... the price creates quite a pucker factor for me. I usually don't mind spending extra... but this is just too much.

..but is it possible that the stuff they are showing on that site is the same stuff that Quarterarcade sells?

I'll be restoring an Atari Football, and unfortunately it has the pebbled/leather black vinyl. If I can reasonably match it, I'd like to go with it.

The pica mentioned in the link you posted my work also.... I was thinking either going with morraco style from quarter arcade or the pica from happp. I just dont know if there the same or not. Look at it this way, once on, and restored it will look fantastic, new, and fresh..

I just wrapped a cab in Pica from Happ. The finish is fantastic. If the Exidy cabs were done in a black textured vinyl, you won't be disappointed with the pica.
