Creating a Circuit Board Repair Repository

I know that I have had to search long and hard for someone who specialized in the repair of a certain type of arcade board. Some of you are experts in the repair of one or two types of boards. I know Elektron Forge covers a whole bunch of board repairs, as well.

Basically, I wanted to get a list going on here that I will compile at a later point that collects information on who repairs what types of boards. That way, in the future, you can just go through a repair directory to see who to get into contact with for board repair instead of having El Dorado as your only option.

Therefore, who repairs what? Speak up!

I've specialized in Midway 8080 boards (Space Invaders, Sea Wolf and others), and I started messing with vectors recently. At the moment I'm trying to redo my bench and just take it easy through the holidays...after that...we'll see

Should add that I'd prob be up for any other B/W rasters as long as I can make a test rig for em.

I'm a repair whore and will tackle a lot of different boards... just look at my repair logs.

Neo Geo MVS, Pac-Man (Ms./Plus/jr/Super), Galaga, Galaxian, Phoenix/Pleiads, Centipede, Bubble Bobble, and many other classics such as DK/jr/3.

For JAMMA boards, I'll tackle most things, including most surface mount issues.

What I don't work on: Vector games, classic Williams and other boards I don't have test rig adapters for. I don't work on Konami sound hybrids or do most of those Konami RTC chip issues either. If code is available I'll program a new RTC chip... but until those code issues are figured out that will be a one-off thing. I also don't do BGA surface mount work.

What I will work on soon: Classic games I can connect to my Kurz Kasch test bench. I'm going through the adapters tonight to see how many complete sets I have and which cards I'll need.

I repair the Classic Williams boards:
- power supply boards
- Stargate, Joust, Robotron, Bubbles, Sinistar, etc.

Right now I am limiting my intake of new repairs until I clear the backog of current repairs. I also have a sh*tload of my own boards I need to get fixed so I can finish some of the projects that have been languishing.

I repair pretty much any mcr 3 board stacks, as well as Baby pac-man stuff - vidiots, lamp/solenoid boards and mpu's.
I can also repair all of the satellite boards for Spy hunter and tron - lamp driver, Cheap squeak deluxe, absolute position, amp, etc.
While i'm not crazy about them, i've also been known to repair hypersports and track and field - at least if all the customs are there and working.
Fwiw - i don't take in more work than i can do. i won't take anything in for repair unless i have the time to work on it. There is no cue. When i get your board, i repair it, and turn it right back around to you.
Eventually, i plan on putting up a little site with what i repair, prices, etc - i just haven't had time to fool with it yet, as building a website isn't my favorite way to spend time, i'd rather be repairing a pcb.

I usually end up fixing the stuff that others can't... which gets annoying...
