NEW Crazy things you'll do to get a game home.

Daaaamn. Did the car last long after that?

That was 4 years ago, and its still my daily driver. Pushing over 170K miles on it currently. This vehicle has surprised me several times over with its reliability and has been around to tow a boat, several arcade loads, roofing material... you name it.

Short Bed Pickup, had to go down the interstate like this for about 2 hours at 30mph as everyone passes me going 80

Galaga barely fit in my 2011 Honda Fit. Fortunately the seller was a monster of a personal trainer and we wrangled it in there.

The Gravitar/SF2 conversion fit but could only go in so far.

I threw a few extra squirrels under the hood before we left. :)

One of the best game haulers I ever had was my 1986 Subaru Brat. I used to describe it as having 73 screaming squirrels of Fuji Heavy Industries fury under the hood, but low transmission and final drive gearing helped with that. Taking a full-sized cabinet in the bed was no problem with the tailgate down, and ratchet-strapping it in place was a breeze due to the tie-downs in the bed. Having a lower loading height and better manoeuvrability than most pick-ups were nice to have as well.

The time I moved two games standing upright in it was awesome for the looks I got from people. I'd toyed with the idea of powering them from an inverter and sticking a buddy of mine in the back to play them while we were driving, but for some reason he wasn't as keen on the idea as I was :D

I picked up an NBA Fastbreak for $500 last year from some family that had acquired and had no clue how to maintain it. The lockbar had been pried up and the glass removed I can only assume because the morons didn't know they could drill out the coin door lock. They literally didn't know the power switch was on the bottom! "I plug it in but it doesn't come on!" I decided to just strap in the machine as is and get home ASAP without demonstrating how the head could be folded down. The glass went in my backseat. Play field was super dirty from being expose for so many years but the goodie bag and keys to the head were all inside safe and sound!

So yeah I use a 2012 Prius-C and an awesome little trailer to do my transporting here in Houston. The land is flat so the car never has any trouble chugging at 65 MPH.

Got snowed in on the way home from a game grab and had to get a hotel . It doesn't look bad in the pic but I-80 was shut down for over 100 miles .

80 MPH on the interstate. I strapped them down until I ran out of rot.

I remember buying two machines.. and only being able to move one at a time.
the owner took off , had to leave one machine at the curb and run the first one
back to my house.. then run back and get the other.
right after i picked the second one up.. it started to downpour .
I got lucky twice in one haul.

I built a removable plywood bed extension onto my truck bed. The bed was only 60 inches long and the wheel wells on the Tacoma bulge out obscenely, so I was limited to 3 upright cabinets. With my bed extension and a bunch of ratchet straps I can do 5 full-sized uprights.
