SOLD - GAME Crazy rare... Marble Madness 2: Marble Man (REPRODUCTION)

With CAX right around the corner, I thought I'd ask if the game will use trackballs again like last year! I did notice in one video that the marbles had a speed cap. Not too slow, not too fast. Would pressing the turbo button have done anything? Or was it designed to be played that way with the replaced controls? I'd also like to ask if the repros will show up to any events? I'd love to see em in action! ^^

Yes, MM will be at CAX again this year, with trackballs. We brought it over last night.

By no obligation is anyone to do so, but I was wondering if anyone at cax is willing to record some longplay footage of the mm2 being played on hardware. :)

If not, that's fine! ^^

Here's the bad boy! :D

I see a sticker on there! Is the game for sale?! 🧐

Interesting, got to say though the physics and graphics do look a little "off" though. Looks like it is playing a little too fast, and bounces and ricochets look odd.The Music & sound effects just don't seem right either. Good luck though.
I respectfully disagree! I think the physics, graphics, music, and sound effects are a major improvement from the first game! Especially if you play on controller! It's really no different than playing the first game using a controller. And the music hits way harder because not only does the game reuse the same soundchip as the first, but they also added the OKIM6295, which is an incredible soundchip for drum samples and making music on the YM2151 hit hard in the 90s! Street fighter 2 is also known for having the same 2 soundchips. The only reason why it sounds off is because marble madness 2 has some emulation issues that make the OKIM6295 unable to be louder like it's supposed to on hardware, you'll have to use mame, go to sliders, and turn that bad boy up louder than the 2151 chip and then it's a banger! 👾🎶

Dunno, Marble Madness just isn't MM without the trackball, that was the novelty of the arcade game. But to each their own. When you guys going to do Crystl Castle 2? 😁

There's a second Crystal Castle? 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
Crystal Castles 2: Bentleys Revenge was quickly banned due to the controversy surrounding Bentleys bloody rape and execution of Berthilda the Witch. Atari had found inspiration from games like Mortal Kombat and Splatterhouse but took it too far unfortunately.

what was in those gems??? :oops2:

Did it ever make it to field testing? May i also ask if the game ran on system 1 or 2 hardware? Did it receive the same treatment as gremlins? If so, I don't think that game exist anymore. 💀
