So lately as im pretty much crap broke I finally dug around in my closet and found some stuff I bought for a poject a long time ago. I don't want to tell everyone what the project is until its finished as its going to be a really unique and awesome product. however I need someone that can do awesome graphics work that is willing to donate a very small ammount of time to help me out.
First of all I need measurments of a typical monitor bezel for a 19" corner cut dynamo that is vertical, a sketchup with dimensions would make my day....
Next I need someone with the dynamo cabinet to get me some measurements in a quick crude drawing from a cp that has the joystick and one button on each side (for one and two player). I need to know how far from the outside edge of the cp the first button hole is and how far appart the 2nd button hole is. I need this info for each side. joystick hole measurements are not needed.
Lastly i need a graphics whiz to pm me to help assist with my crazy probably boneheaded idea.
I love it when a plan comes together.
Now for my restoration, I will post pics later on as I get started. I have a dynamo 19" corner cut cab (as if you couldnt tell). The sides are pretty solid but the front panel is just trashed and cracking so the vendor I got it from placed some screws into the cabinet its self to hold it together. I am going to be replacing that particular piece with a brand new one then reconditioning the sides via some laminate sheets that are black (my sander broke and cant afford new one at this time). Then the fun begins! I have a pal who works for the vets admin in a shop and he has access to digital etching tools so I am going to go with an etched acrylic marquee with a back mask and lit with some led lights I purchased a while back on e-gay.
I will post progress pictures as I go along. I will be working on it slow. Oh and as for the cabinet, it was a tetris when I got it so no it wasnt a really good game lol.
Thanks again for taking the time to read this and stay tuned for awesome pictures.
