FS Game: Crazy Climber Cocktail Table

So this seller isn't allowed to make money? Does every for sale thread have to get price policed and trolled thease days. Lol

Quick flips are sad.

sellers are allowed to make $, of course.

i would like to assume the reason for this site, klov, its sole existence and
meaning is the restoration and preservation of arcade games.

the majority of the klov collector community loathes flippers.

this guy literally made a best offer for this cocktail and flipped it for double the
price the same day or day after it was purchased. it's sad.

I'm not a newb and completely understand "the sole exI stance and meaning" of this site, however I just can't understand why some people care so much about what others do, especially when the people who start crap have little to no interest in what's even being offered? organial seller was happy with his selling price this guy "may" or "may not" profit from his findings ? Regardless of what happens I dont really care.

Maybe I'll call the guy I sold my tapper to less than a year ago for 1k , I wonder what he will say when I offer him 1k to get it back? But hell he's a klov member like me so maybe 1100 will do the trick. Lol it is what it is.

Inside joke between me and Mad Hatter. I got there literally two minutes after the deal was made. 2 1/2 hour roundtrip. Sucks because I actually wanted the game (on my very short list). But it is what it is...

it sucks when the winner happens to be a fast flipper and couldn't give a shit less about the hobby.

so you would have been okay with the flip if he held on to it for a year? Someone making money on a game means they don't care about the hobby?

we care cuz we're local. the game was listed super low price, and 100's of us were
war-dialing the seller trying to be the 1st to grab it at such a ridiculous bargain price.
it sucks when the winner happens to be a fast flipper and couldn't give a shit less about the hobby.

So I guess the morale of this story is to get there faster next time so you can flip it yourself, or keep it for "5 minutes" then sell it for "market value"

Dude everyone is the same in this hobby regaurdless of what state you live in, we all troll Craigslist, letgo and any other site that we can to possibly find to get that golden deal! Hahaha just admit your like everyone else and thus "A true hobbyist" peace..

Yes, its sad how people make assumptions about other people. Because I decided to sell this for a quick flip vs keeping it makes me a non collector? I do not care about the hobby? I can say I do feel bad for Forkperfect he was a nice guy and I have been in his shoes many times. Missing out on a great deal because someone beat me there. This will probably be my one and only great deal I will get this year. My timing (usually) is always horrible.. I just got lucky on this one. I did drive 2 1/2 hrs one way to get that game and I would have been upset if it was sold from underneath me. I was under the impression he was holding it for me when he text me his address. Had I known it was first come first serve I never would have made the trip.
When good deals pop up there is always going to be someone very happy, sad, upset and understanding. When some people are mad they make assumptions. I guess its a coping mechanism. I am not going to make assumptions on his motive :)

Incidentally, someone pinched a Tron from a garage sale in Westland last summer for $30 (yes, $30 - WTF!?!?!?). Was it any of you shmucks? Another time I got there just a little too late...

I would assume everyone on this site has flipped a game or parts at some point in time on here or elsewhere. Most would be broke if they didnt, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I highly doubt ppl are selling games or parts cheaper/even for what they got them for.

Edit: but if someone wants to sell me a Dkjr pcb dirty cheap after parting out the cab and has already made double if not more what they paid for it...let me know
