Crazy Climber board repair?

sorry... couldn't resist
Hope you can get it fixed... I lucked out when mine died, it was just the connectors.

Well this was our board that was 100% working until recently. BUT, we usually keep our 99% working board installed instead because it has a really funny quirk... CC's head is missing. The kids and I love playing this way because... well... it's just funny. :D

Dick was a no-go last time I emailed him and Elektron Forge has never responded to any emails I've sent requesting board repairs(sent 4 or so emails spread out over 4 or 5 months).

Going to bump this in case someone has started to repair these. I now have two sets that have minor things wrong with them. I've tried re-seating everything that's socketed on them and even swapped somethings between them but to no avail. I'd love to get one set fixed and I'd be in NO hurry and I'd try to pay a reasonable amount to make it worth your while. :)

One set has perfect graphics and music, but is missing "player's" sounds(as in climbing, "go-for-it", getting bopped on the head, etc).

The other set has some corrupt graphics and sounds. I tried swapping in a good sound chip and it seemed to take care of most of the sound problems. This is the set I'd like to get fixed.

TIA, :beerchug:

Just FYI, I got my ROTJ board repaired by Elektron Forge just 2 weeks ago. I emailed and got a response in about a day. Sent the board out and Alex started trouble shooting within a day. In a week he got back to me and had it fixed. Got it about 4 days after that. I think total turn around time was 3 weeks. Might try them again?
