Went to CAX and came home with a Taito Crazy Climber which works but needs some cosmetic love. Ordered a new CPO and joysticks for it today. And I understand prOk is planning to do stencils for this style of Taito cab. I'm thrilled to have it though. I couldn't get enough of this game at the Seattle show. Thanks mrbill2084! It arrived home safely and is working fine still.

Also came back with an essentially NOS Universal cab to build a Mr. Do! out of. The story on this is it never finished going through the assembly line and has never had a game in it. It does have a few nicks but overall looks awesome, and how cool is it to have an NOS cab? I guess the only thing cooler would be a NIB game. Along with the cab itself came most if not all of the non-game specific parts. And I have a line on pretty much anything I need to complete the game thanks to a great fellow klov'er. This is my wife's favorite game so I'm thrilled that it will be such a special machine. Thanks p1899m for hooking me up and bringing it down to CAX for me!

Also brought back a Mappy for local friend Brick Top that PatBateman was selling (it was at CAX). I was happy to bring yet another Mappy back from CA (I have one of my own) and happy to help BT who is a really good guy. It seems that Portland has a corner on the Mappy market now - at least 4 Mappy's among collectors I know here.

Congrats. Crazy Climber was way ahead of its time. Tremendous game.

Man, I just drooled on my keyboard when I saw that Universal cab! I have dreams of a cab like that for my Mr. Do. Great scores!

Awesome man congrats! Crazy climber is such a fun, unique and inspired game...Gotta love it! takes a few minutes to figure out how to climb, then it's up and away! Keep us posted on your restoration progress :)

Every time you post new pickups I keep thinking your back area will be full... and everytime I'm wrong. Nice pick ups!

Oh, there is still room for sure. Although no doubt I'm closer to the end of filling the room than I am to the beginning. When are you going to make it down again to see how it has changed?

Not sure when I'll be back in Oregon. Probably not for a while... we're 3 months away from kid #2 arriving, and need to get busy prepping for that (turning the guest room into the 2nd kids room, and replacing our shed out back with a new guest room/mother-in-law building, w/arcade space hopefully).
