Next time you see what you feel is a good deal, contact the seller and have it in your truck before you even think about posting anything about it here.

Sorry guys I wont say a word until its in my truck. Act first think about it second if you screwed up sell it.

I 2nd that opinion.

Wise man once said: Act before you think! Then that way you will all ready have the game while the others are still thinking...Rule to arcade collecting!

Well I got a call and they said the buyer never showed. Instead of asking questions, I high tailed it over there. They even took my original offer. They must have tried for a higher bidder, that's all I can guess.

I picked up a tempest about 3 weeks agao on craigslist for $250, great shape, had no power he said. So, I bought it right away, plenty of time to think about it on the ride home. I am with you 100 percent, buy now, think about it later, can't pass it up...Congrats on the pick up, you ll love it, act, then think later

They originally said that it had a horizontal white line that went left and right, about an inch thick. It played blind though. After I arrived and asked to plug it in, they said that they were going to try and replace a fuse on the monitor, so they removed it but couldn't remember where it went. So I didn't plug it in yet.

Glad a KLOVer got it. I got the sold message as well. I waas in the question phase, while you were at the offering phase.

Grats hope it is an easy fix.

Looks really nice. You should do one of the available Low Voltage upgrades to that 6100, cap it, and reflow the solder on all of the header pins.

Yes. And check all fuses to ensure that they are the right value. If they've been changing fuses then there's a good chance they just stuck random fuses in (or rolled up aluminum foil) or whatever rather than the correct ones.

I'm sure the 6100 needs a tune up like most of em' do that haven't been repaired in 30 years. Just get the $14 cap kit from Bob. One other thing you might want to pick up is a Tempest POT kit while you're ordering parts too.
