It is a fine price, if it's dedicated, but with no pics or other info, who knows? I just scrapped one out recently that was completely water damaged, cab was falling apart as it was being moved. Would I have paid that money for a cab like that? Probably not, but if it was moderately clean, absolutely. I just marvel at the fact that people try and sell items with little to no info. Like trying to sell a car and posting an ad that goes something like this:
"Car for sale. Red. Runs, but needs some things fixed. $1900 or best offer."
What, exactly, am I buying here? I don't know what it is, how far I'm going to get it, what does it need? Is it safe to drive it home??
I understand that in the video game world, many of the above concerns are not valid, but the same theory applies, I think. If I'm driving my truck an hour (or more) to pick up a game, I would at least like an IDEA of what I'm getting, rather than a "$125 video game".
I picked one up locally several years ago, guy told me it was a "space shoot 'em up thing". Galaga, I thought? Maybe...Instead, it turns out to be a completely trashed Arkanoid. Space shooting?? Did I miss something there? Maybe in the attract sequence we might see space, but it's really kind of a reach to go further than that. Long story short, after beating it out of the frozen ground in an outdoor shed, and a total restore, it works again, but the story goes to show the point I am getting at (I think).
Not trying to rant here, but I shake my head when I see these type of ads posted around.
