I'd say your lucky you got it, the thing only has one button, and it wasn't even wired up too accept quarters. Did you let the person know that alot of the games on there are unplayable with only 1 button?
Yep - I specifically listed it on Craigslist as a 31-in-1 (just the 4-way joystick games with up to 1 button).
If I had put 4/8 way switchable joysticks and 3 buttons and a trackball on each side, and it could play all 60 games on native(ish) controls, then I would have been asking $800. But the size of the Ms Pac control panels wouldn't easily accommodate that many controls. I'd have had to put the trackball on the side of the CP or something (the bottom?
I had actually installed external buttons for coin, test, and service, so you could access the 60-in-1 menus to make it easier to configure. I had set it up as a home use machine, not really commercial use. It was simple enough to reroute the wires from the coin button to the coin door harness. And the coin mechs worked, so voila!
