Did you get a deal on craigslist tell us about it.
Two year's ago I scored two arcade game's on the cheap.
A Pac Man that turned out to be a Ms Pac Man.
A Vs Super Mario Bros.
The Ms Pac Man had been listed for two whole month's and to my surprise it was still available while the Versus Super Mario Bros had Been listed for 9 day's.
The Ms Pac Man was listed at $350 I was able to make a deal on it for $250 in working condition.
Versus Super Mario Bros was listed at $200 the game played blind so I made an offer at $140 the seller accepted my offer.

Nice scores there!

For some of us that have been collecting for a while, we could do our own version of BrentRadio's "I Wanna Go Back" montage using pics of Craigslist deals of yesteryear, instead of arcade games....we'd all like to go back to 140.00 ninty cabs :) lol

This deal mirrored my very first arcade deal! Guy wanted $300 for a space invaders cocktail converted into mr. Do...I got it for $250, and he had an orange Nintendo cab with SMB and I got that for $100. But that was back when I had space :/

I picked up a minty teal Astro Blaster, looked like it had never been played along with a terrible centipede for $50 for both. Had to haul them out of the most disgusting hoarders den. Smelled like a dirty bums dick beaters combined with cat urine...

Picked up a Gaplus and a Piranha for $200 from a facebook garage sale site once too.

I picked up a williams space shuttle last week for 400 said in the add was not working. But I got it home and found test switch was left on and kept it from booting to the game one of my easiest repairs ever lol. Only bad part was it's backglass is shot.

A few weeks back I picked up a rare 19 inch 4 player Sunset Riders with a full set of Perfect 360 sticks, also a working stand up Afterburner for $500, the kicker was the guy threw in a working TMNT PCB which is selling for around $500 on its own.

I've gotten some pretty stellar deals on Craigslist when I have time to really focus on it.

Best deals were a $200 Ms Pac cocktail that just needed capped and a Centipede upright for free.

I got a decent deal on a Twilight Zone pin years ago..

any other attempt since then at craigs list has been a waste of time so I pretty much dont bother to look anymore. Seems to be 75-80% scammers, at least in Florida.

(Central) Florida Craigslist landed me this beauty last night :) Apparently not powered up in over 17 years... (no 5V on the power supply board, haven't looked further yet).

Over half my cabs are probably Craigslist finds - Asteroids ($180), Centipede ($160), Solar Fox, Gauntlet Legends, shell for my Gauntlet ($100), SF2 Champ ($100?), Golden Axe ($150?), Donkey Kong ($80!). You just have to sift out the pages & pages of multi-game crap.

Vectorbeam Space war in Los Angeles.
It was had for a bargain price.
In the crowed LA market, How did I scoop this vector game even tho it was an hour and 45 minutes away?
Simple, Someone was have an Arcade grand opening. While most of the other collectors were having fun, I was added anther game to my collection.

A dedicated survivor Pengo that needed nothing - rolled it into my house and plugged it in ... for $125. One small caveat was that it was a 500 mile round trip.. No regrets. Actually got the tip on it here on Klov, was posted in a "other sale sites, craigslist, ebay, etc" thread.

Caught an ad for a non working pristine frogger for $200....family owned for 25 yrs....while talking to seller on the phone they mentioned they have a non working qbert for sale not listed in the ad.....i get there and the qbert was in immaculate condition, not working also...again, family owned for 25 yrs.

Made a deal, $500 for the pair

Got them home...Qbert needed one fuse replaced.....frogger had a pin hole in flyback..i patched it with heavy duty epoxy...both been working like a charm.

Btw...this deal:..cl ad in texas listing...but games were in new orleans...15 minutes from my house.

Greatest cl deal i ever landed

I did also get a mario bros slimbody not working for $20..could have got it for free but i felt guilty so i gave him $20 bucks...needs a cosmetic rehaul but everything was there....got it working in 5 minutes...i cant recall what i did to fix it...I havent touched it since...one of the many projects.

Got a pole position for $260 , not working, in excellent condition....had $28 dollars in quarters in it when i got it home....i got to test the board in another game and board works...another project.

Got a pristine centipede for $200, not working...got it working in one minute...ground wire wasnt connected.

That reminds me of my centipede pickup. Same condition, same price, only the screen kept rolling vertically. Messed with the vhold when I got it home and fixed it in under a minute.
