I have a beautiful board built by SOUZA as a 4:1 w/ HS save.

My storage rack fell over and this board crashed down cracking off the heat sync at 2D. It looks like a small 16 windowed chip. I assume it was burned with some code.

Can I get a straight replacement if I want it fixed 100% or do I have to pull it from a donor board? I haven't tried to fire it up, as it may run but I really want to get it fixed correctly.

Thanks in advance. I know there are a few guys here that know their Pacman boards. Riptor?

It's a high speed RAM chip... no programming needed.

They are a D2125 from Intel... Other makers have their own part #s for 'em.

I have some buried somewhere around here. Riptor should have 'em up on his site for sale.

Thanks RJ!
What kind of adhesive is used to glue these small heatsinks onto this RAM chip?

The old one is very much stuck on to the top part of the ceramic. I realize now that it's not a window but the top of the chip cracked right off.

I haven't found any yet that was cost effective.

I've been looking at some adhesive tape but that stuff is around 55 to 60 a roll. EEEK.

Thanks, I found it but I got stuck on the min $5 order for a $.75 part... hmmm
Not complaining as I know it's not worth your time.
