What voltage lines are necessary for CPSII?

+5VDC
+12VDC

Any other? I ask because the power supply in my JAMMA cab took a dump last night... a couple weeks ago my 18-in-1 CPSII board stopped working for no reason... I only got the menu (the add-on board runs on +5VDC).

I swapped in a 1940-in-1 on Monday morning and it worked fine (+5VDC and +12VDC required I do believe) ... but died a couple hours in...

...I wonder if, say the -5VDC line died earlier and the CPSII board needed that voltage? Just checking to see what voltages it needs on the miniscule hope that the boardset isn't in fact, toast.

Thanks!

Well shit... poking around a little more it seems +5 and +12 are the only two voltages needed. It still may be smart to plug the bad boy in one last time once I get the new PS going just to check...

Anyone have a source for those huge ass Chow supplies that are used in a Dynamo 25" cab?

Happ makes a Power Pro replacement of that size. seems a bit overkill for this though, I've only ever seen them in larger driving games with big board stacks (like Sega and Namco stuff)

check your JAMMA edge on the funky board, it might need a cleaning if the other board works fine.

Frizz I just replaced my chou in my Big Blue and this one is a direct replacement http://na.suzohapp.com/powersupplies/80001500.htm

Too bad they are not on sale anymore they were 32 dollars when I ordered mine two weeks ago. If you have a warehouse local they offer pickup to.

Otherwise if you really want a Chou PSU Betson sells them.

pretty sure they were cheap at twisted.

i got my standard size 115watt psu for my MK1 cab from twisted, it was a 15-20$ savings compared to happ.
