I have a cps3 motherboard that for the most part work. The problem I have is there are wired green line on the screen. Any idea where I should start looking?

this may or may not help...

I went in test mode with ours and did the memory test (or ram test, whatever they call it) and a few of the SIMMs actually showed bad. I wound up pulling all of them out and cleaning the contacts with an eraser, and reinstalled. the following ram test show them all as good. so I'm guessing these boards are at the age where they're dirty.

considering these games are much like a NAOMI GD-ROM where they load the game data in the ram, you might have a corruption somewhere.

beyond that, I don't really know who repairs these.

I only have a superbios to test. Swaping parts from a working unit I get the same result. This lead me to believe it's board related. If I do a memory test simm 1 and 2 show NG (even on the good mobo with good simm). When I do a simm test I get simm 1 NG only (again same thing on the working unit)

Simm 1 and 2 socket has been clean with deoxit. Simm 1 and 2 has been clean with silvo then deoxit

I haven't tested in my blast city yet. Just my psOne LCD test bench. I don't get this symptom with the other cps3 board

That has been done in my initial test. Seem to be board related. Simm from the bad board work fine on the good board
