My power supply in my X-Men COTA game is dead The marquee gets power but not the mainboard.

I was wondering how hard would it be to modify a pc power supply to work as a power supply for the arcade game to see if it is the ps and not something more sinister wrong inside.

The main reason I think it died is the fan on the ps stopped spinning but the marquee gets the power. Advice is always welcomed, thnx.

It's downright trivial. If it's an ATX power supply, you'll have to connect the PS-ON wire to ground to get the power supply to boot up. (PWR-OK is a signal from PSU to board; you can safely ignore it.) Beyond that, it's just a matter of hooking up wires. Look up the pinouts for ATX and it'll immediately become blindingly obvious.

One caveat though: -5V is optional in most versions of the ATX standard. So you may find that the -5V wire on the ATX header is missing. Not all boards need this, so it may not matter, but some will, to the point of not booting without it present. (I don't know about CPS2 specifically.)
