Ive yet to infinikey any of mine but im actually still routing them so I just solder in a new one and mark the case with tape when its been changed for now.
we had a lot of barn find-ish games in Texas and virtually every CPS2 game had orange goo exploded batteries. so the environmental conditions play a role in it. but yes, I miss the old days when those batteries would just merely die peacefully.
