Cps1 to cps2 conversion.

For sure.. the kick harness is a different plug (say Street Fighter CE conversion to Super Street Fighter) but other than that you're golden.

So what you're saying is..i just need to buy a kick harness and a cps 2 board say xmen vs street fighter and its plug and play from there?

What CPS1 is in the cabinet right now (assuming it's wired correctly and working 100%)?

Not sure what that second cable is, but the kick harness adapter should be all you need. If the second cable is to adapt the additional functions of the cps2 harness, such as test button, volume up and volume down, it is unnecessary. Those buttons are on the side of the cps2 motherboard. One other thing to note - assuming your cab is mono audio (fed from the jamma harness), you will want to be sure to set the cps2 game to mono audio in the test menu before playing.

I'd agree with NoAffinity, this should do it...

Here is a picture of the board.

Yep, that white plug will go into the adapter and the adapter will plug into the CPS2. Connect the jamma harness and fight! Plug and play.

Another suggestion - a thick layer of dust is generally not good for the longecity of electronics. Do yourself and your cab a favor - shop vac the inside of the cab and take to the game board with a can of compressed air. :)

Will do. Thanks.
