CPS1 Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting graphical glitch. Video missing some colors

Hi,
I have a CPS1 SF2 board with graphics problem. Sound seems to work perfectly

It seems to be missing all color. I have read all the data from the roms and compared to my mame roms, and everything matches perfectly. I do not have another board to to really swap out A, B, C boards to see which board might be culprit, I'm hoping someone ran into this problem before.

here is a video of running the board in test mode, if that makes any difference:

You are not missing all colors, you are missing "red" and "green". Blue is the only one you are seeing.

The most likely culprit is the "A" board, but without a way to drop you "B"/"C" set onto another "A" board it is hard to be certain. The first thing I would do is look up the JAMMA pinout to determine which pins carry the red and green signal (pin "N" on the solder side and pin "12" on the parts side). Then follow those pins back from the connecter and use a logic probe to discover where the signal stops. That would be where you need to replace components.

I also noticed from the video that the game played exceptionally fast and seemed to reboot when you started a match. If that's the case, you couldbe dealing with more than just missing colors.

Brian.
