I've got a Phoenix'd MvC on my bench that boots to a bunch of garbage. To determine if its the Phoenix'd B board or not I installed a working B board with a Darksoft Multi CPSII kit installed. It boots to bad Qsound RAM error.

So, anyone know where the Qsound RAM is on the A board? I can see at least 6-8 RAM IC's on the A board and I'd rather not pull them off if I dont have too.

Thanks!

find the Zed 80. and the Qsound I think is a custom chip. I haven't really looked too hard in one of those in a long time.

I found the Z80, theres a surface mounted device close by that has Q in the part number and some RAM nearby. Just wanted to be sure that they are the right IC's before I take them off the board.

And thats assuming that one of them is bad and my issue isnt something else. Already tried another Z80.
