I was suprised last night to find a Cockpit Road blasters at the Lakeland Family Fun Center. They keep a few classics like Centipede and DK, but this was a new addition. They have the full measure of redemption games, but atleast they've always kept a back section of real arcades.

I don't know, it was just a good feeling to walk in and find an older machine there, ready to go, like it was cool.

wow, I haven't seen a cp roadblasters in years with the magnified screen, did you get any pics of the games they had there?

There's actually 2 of them in Weirs Beach NH...one at Funspot and one at Half Moon arcade.

I'll try to stop by this evening and get some shots with the IPhone. It will give me an excuse to play a few rounds.

Speaking of Road Blaster... I should be getting my kit in the mail today (hopefully). It's going to be hard to remove Marble Madness though.

:)

As promised, some pics:

You know, a lot of people call the Road Blasters cockpit ugly. I actually think it looks pretty sweet! Plus, it doesn't look like it takes up too much space. I have never actually played the game before, however.
