Silly question but it's one I don't know.

I am ready to buy the art for my multigame.
I created a custom cp overlay based on the vectorized burgertime cpo with some modifications and characters added.

It's going to go onto a 19 inch monitor style cut corner dynamo cab.
Should I order it exact size or larger to have some foldover on the top?

Looking for feedback with your experience's
I would think if it's exact size with no foldover it might peel eaiser? yes or no

Thanks
GD

I have done a couple of multigames/mame with metal control panels. I always do foldover at the top when the original is done this way. It is all personal preference, but I always try to emulate my custom artwork (size wise) to the original when possible.

I think with metal they always do foldover. your buttons will kind of anchor the overlay in place too. if I'm not mistaken, if your overlay is really thick and you want to get it to where it'll adhere on rounded edges better, you have to use a heatgun to get that bend in it.

do anything else to that cab since I last saw it? you were putting a comp monitor in when I came by. I think you had to come up with a way to modify the back door cause the monitor tube was so deep.

I made a little bit progress on this cab.
Monitor is mounted without any mod's to the cab itself, It was a really slick solution if I do say so, wiring's done, just need to troubleshoot a non responding button, and change a crap/busted speaker out. slap art on it and sell it to you ;) (jk)

most of my free time went into getting my Who Dunnit shopped and up and running, I wanted that done by 8/29 when we are having a family party, I just finished that and now I am back to the multi. I doubt I will have it done by then as football has started and I am the taxi, when mom works, but maybe.

I am not a design artist by any stretch so fumbling thru AI and PS is a huge pain and work just slows to an absolute crawl when I'm doing that stuff. next time I think I just buy pre made stuff, it would be alot easier.
