Hey guys I recently picked up a cirqus voltaire and have a couple minimal issues to ask questions about.

My first question is if there is any way to raise the "Boom Balloon" up so it sits flush with the playfield. My boom balloon is sunk down a little farther than it needs to be so when i hit the ball over it, the ball kicks up in the air a bit. I am trying not to waste this playfield, so i need to raise it. Is there some kind of fine tuning? Or is there a part that wears down such as a spacer of some sort that i could replace to make it raise?

My second question is the ball diverter on the playfield on the back right of the machine by the acrobats. It drags a little bit on the playfield. I can jiggle the stainless diverter on the post where its connected. But cant tighten it since the divertee is riveted to the post that makes it turn. Again is there something I can do to get it off the playfield so it doesn't drag? Or is there something I can replace or modify or something to fix this problem?

On mine, the plastic on top of the boom balloon has some rubber under it, so you can tweak the leveling as you tighten the screws. I can look under the hood later, but I'm sure there's a leveling screw on the bottom of the mech like there is on the Ringmaster.

As for the diverter, same thing happens on mine...I put a mylar square there to prevent the playfield from getting worn by the drag. I can't remember offhand if I came up w/ a solution to adjusting the diverter...I'll look tonight!

Hey i found the leveler you were talking about. My next question is just based out of curiosity. Do they make a cliffy for that boom balloon?

Nah, and that would look really weird. I don't really think there's a need for it either. Keep that plastic level w/ the playfield, and it's basically an insert at that point.

Alright. My last question about this machine is how many balls does it require? I currently am using 4 but I am not sure how many balls this machine takes.

There ya go! The manual is always good to have handy. I didn't time time to get into my machine tongiht to answer your question about the diverter ...probably won't have time tomorrow either...if you don't figure it out, I'll get in there eventually!

I took that neon ramp of and slapped a piece of mylar over it until I can do a full off shop of the machine. It will do for the time being. I am sorry about bugging you with questions and all. I have ROM version 1.0, I heard theres ROM version 2.0 and 3.0 out for this from what people were talking about online. My question would be are there any updates to this game such as video modes or different side show options or anything with different sounds or whatnot that I am missing out on that would make me want to get an updated ROM version for this machine? If so what are they and where would I be able to find the updated ROM version?
