I have a chance to pick up a World Class Bowling for a decent price...It's a dedicated machine. Does anyone know what size and type of monitor is in the machine? I found 2 different places..one saying 25' and the other 27'

Also.. any idea on what they are worth? My intentions would be to MAME it but I think i has a vertical monitor in it

Thanks!

I didn't know WCB had a dedicated cabinet, but maybe it did. All the one's I have seen have been conversions with 25 inch monitors. WCB is also a horizontal game, not vertical, but really there are no such things as 'vertical monitors', only vertical monitor frames. A monitor is just a monitor, the signal from the game board is what makes the picture shift from one orientation to the other. If you get a cab with the monitor turned vertically, you just have to physically take it out and mount it horizontally.

Just did look it up...looks like it was a kit only but in the standard IT game cab (like GT with the white sides).

I'm probably stretching this but how does MAME handle games being played on the 'wrong' monitor (horizontal VS vertical).

Seem this would be a nice MAME deal with the large deck and trackball already included.

Mine's in a Virtua Fighter Cabinet, along with GT2K and Shuffleshot. I use a trackball splitter and 6 in 1 jamma harness w/remote to switch between the games. MAME would be much easier I would think. You could also add a lot more trackball games that way.
