Does anybody know a rough estimate on what it would cost to ship your average upright arcade game from Nevada to, say, New York or Florida? I want to try a different strategy in selling games, being to offer free palletizing/shipping set up on my end, therefore eliminating the burden on the buyer having to create their own shipping.

...too...freakin'...much.

I know that from Idaho to New Jersey was around $360 from my understanding... and two was around $450... it's always better to get two.

I just sent a Punch Out from Idaho to Nevada. I do believe the quote came in around the same... $360... (the ID to NJ for $360 was a couple years ago).

So in your opinion, would it be safe to pad the price of the game by about $400?

The one I sent from California to New York was $490 I believe. Very recently. This was NAVL and they wrapped it in plastic and a blanket and loaded it up. No pallet though. I didn't see that they had equipment to move pallets but they might have.

The price can fluctuate a LOT though from what I understand so be careful with padding the price to include shipping.

I think that would be a decent ballpark... though unless you're willing to take a POSSIBLE small lost, you're best bet is to get a quote from the fine folks at NAVL...

Navl rates change based on fuel costs. 2 games from CT to WA was around 450 back in june.

ship

more like 500 even then you may be out pallet and wrap compensation

p.s. are you sure you are ok with ebays new policy on charging on shipping? they are getting $50 for the shipping and $50 for the game commissions on your 999 pole position... a few years ago the commission on this would have been $35 total
