***** Corvette pinball custom shooter rod

Actually the 6 speeds didnt come out until the 89 model year in the c4.
prior to that they were 4 speeds (4+3 with the overdrive units - junk).
And prior to the C4 ALL manual corvettes were 4 speeds.
So think of it more of a heritage thing.
But im sure if you Wanted one with a 6 speed ball, im sure he will make you one for your corvette pinball.

Neat! But why a 4 speed? Isn't that game mostly based on the C4 (6 speeds)?

Hey there! Well the game features all years Corvette, thus the 4 speed. This particular shift ball covers 1965-1962, so it still works with the game theme.

On a side note, the one above is SOLD! Thanks to all for looking!

That is frickin awesome!!!!

Thanks!

It really completes the game IMO. Corvette pin owners generally don't mod their machines, certainly not like a TZ. This however is an easy mod to do and reverse, BUT it just works with the machine. Add that it's real Corvette part and it turns into a conversation piece!

Yup, exactly right!

Those Douglas Nash 4+3 trans were probably a great idea, but not a good idea in the end for production. I suppose true to Corvette, GM wanted to be different and decided to use that trans. Was not around long before the 6-speed took its place.

My Vette is a 6-speed and I would not have it any other way!

I kinda figured you were going for a heritage thing, but having not played the game I thought it was more C4 centric. Definitely a unique produce though!

Updating this post for a friend. Here are pics, I'm currently not making them.
