Hello fellow gamers! I am another Ohioan. I hail from the city of Elyria. Love the old school retro games. There is no DLC. You get the whole game! New games are fun too, but I think the older games were based on more fun instead of just realistic graphics. I started out playing my grandparents Atari 2600. Then I got a Nintendo. Power pad and all. For me, that's where the fun really started. I am a huge Mortal Kombat fan. Love the Sega Genesis and the SNES. They just don't make em like they used to.

Welcome.

Ahh yes the Sega Genesis.... it was both my favorite system and my most hated system.
I'm lying, I loved it a lot more than I hated it and it's not the Genesis's fault that greedy Sega executives introduced 2 stop-gap measures to suck up our money while they waited to take the Saturn into production. Specifically I am talking about the Genesis add-on units, SegaCD and Sega 32X.
Sega CD was ok...it was the 1st console to to use video from cds and mixed it with games.
It was...ok. Not great. The best thing about it was the Jimi Hendrix cd that came with it.
But then the 32 x came out. I was stoked. Now I could play Doom and so many other 32 bit titles. It was pretty good actually.

6 months later they scrapped it and launched the Saturn....and they quit making 32x games for it. Less than a year old and they stop making games for it. I was pissed.

But it's all good.....it made me swear off consoles and buy my 1st computer. That was not a mistake. :)

Sprinkles are for winners!

Didn't know about the Jimi Hendrix Cd. Jimmy and Sega? Doesn't get any better than that. Now a days if you want Sega games you have to get them in the Nintendo Eshop for the 3DS. I guess Nintendo won the battle after all. Still prayin to the video game gods for the Dreamcast 2. It'll pry never happen though. Maybe they'll make the Nintendo Dreamcast 2.
