I love the Hard Drivin cockpit - the Ferrari look is at least the coolest looking of the driving cabinets.

Space Race!!

agreed. space race is pretty amazing cab design. looks like it belongs in superman's fortress of solitude i think this one was originally in the lobby of atari hq.

i think some of my other fav's are atari cabs...... CRYSTAL CASTLES, FOOD FIGHT, DIG DUG.

That's the pic I've seen before, and have around here somewhere. I thought I'd seen a more of a teal color casing. I'm glad my memory isn't totally fading.

Its a tie between a Pole Position cockpit, a Gyruss (LOVE the sideart, never even played the game), and Defender...I've honestly thought that nothing could ever top a Defender cockpit, if it actually existed....

Agreed! I said that exact thing to jpopson once - as a little bonehead I thought ALL machines had black lights because these 2 were side by side at a store.

What about Death Race?

Everytime I see a photo of Death Race, I think it is one of the coolest cabinets around ... perhaps one day I will actually get to see a real one and, god forbid, maybe even play it.
