Hello,

Anyone have a fully working shifter and switch case from a Sega Cool Riders or GP Rider cabinet? I believe both cabinets use the same part. My shifter has been mashed up and missing both the caps.
Willing to pay $40-45. Shipping we can figure out also.

Thanks

Ok... I figured out how to replace the buttons on my shifter so I no longer need this. I did want to document this for people wanting to replace the shifter buttons in your Harley Davidson machine or Cool Riders, since it is same part.

1. You remove the button by applying a plier or tweezers to the edges of the switch, wiggle it up/down or left/right and the button should come right off. This is referenced in the GP Rider manual but not in the manual for Cool Riders or Harley Davidson
2. Once you remove the old button, REMOVE the two small metal brackets that lock onto the button from the old switch into the new switch, the bottom of which is layered on the button with hot glue.
3. Desolder the wires from the old switch and solder them to the new one. Heat shrink tubing optional if you want to prevent open short but isn't necessary.
4. Now your new button should be able to lock in the hole of your shifter successfully.

They were made by a company called Sunmulon, model MHM-1. This replacement I found was a circular button so not factory, but it is still a lot more comfortable to shift gears now than using a button with missing caps.
