Earlier in the year my brother was looking for a Spy Hunter. I knew he always wanted it. I was able to come across one and with the help of my parents I got it for him. With some minor glitches (mostly my own) I got it working. I had kept it at work so he wouldn't see it. I got some side art for it since it never had any.
So what I did was......
I wrapped the extra Cp (with missing pieces), manual, and the side art (never even opened the mailing tube) and put it under the tree.
On Christmas I swung by work and picked the game up with a 32in TV for my parents.
It was drizzling later in the day but for the trip there was no rain. I get to the house and threw a tarp over the whole truck.
Un-wrapping the presents, he opened the CP first and said "what the hell is this?" I took the box back and handed him the manual to unwrap. As he un-wrapped it I told him that I couldn't find the game but I could find the pieces and figured that with the manual he could put it together. I also told him I had a line on a cab. He also opened the side art. I could see that he was disappointed. But isn't that part of the fun of giving.
After everything was done he put on his shoes to help get the tv in. When he rounded the corner of the garage and saw the massive thing under the tarp he said "thats a little bigger than a tv." I pulled the tarp off and he smiled ear to ear. my girlfriend told him not to worry that the tv is there that has to be moved also.
Currently the SH is residing in the garage because we had 2 feet of snow at the time. He is wanting to get it into the basement so bad.
I have no pictures, but it did happen!
as a side note, I got a 25 buck gift certificate from him. But he has helped me threw-out the year. I consider it even
