Projects just keep coming, and I LOVE it.

Check this beauty out. A scratch built cab (freaking gorgeous BTW) that is ready for either paint or vinyl (not sure which Im gonna do yet) and sideart. The bezel is really nice, the CPO is new, and the marquee isnt horrible. This was actually built by a few KLOVers (who can speak up if they'd like) and Im stoked to own it (and for it to return to the lineup!).

Cant wait to finish her up!

That is awesome. Mario Bros. was the first game I bought and it is my favorite. It is the only game that I would never sell. (Well, that and my Superman pinball machine...) That cabinet is shaping up nicely! Looking forward to seeing a nice orange paint job on that beauty!

A huge upgrade IMO. Do you think you'll actually finish it, or is it in its place already?

I will finish it. We have to move here coming up, so once we are in the new place it will get done. For now, we will play the shite out of it

Hear some comedian or something the other day talking about Mario Bros:

"So, they're the MARIO brothers, right? So what - Mario is the last name? So we have Luigi Mario and his brother MARIO Mario?"

My 4 year old boy and I play the heck out of mario. I need to register my most recent widebody with you Jow. I suppose yours can go into the registry as #0000

Mine actually has a serial plate with it (I think it was salvaged from the ruined cab prior).

Mr Blkdog will be taking over the registry. He's Mr Ninty after all.

My 4 year old is hooked. Dude didn't want to turn it off and go to bed.

Win.

So, my wife was working last night and had no idea I brought this thing home.

This morning my 4 year old goes and wakes her up (at 6:30A no less) and says "Mom, I need to speak with you in the gameroom." She gets up and walks in there and he yells "LOOK WHAT DADDY GOT USSSSSSSS!".

I just got a phone call asking "umm, how to I put credits in this thing? Sam wants me to play with him before school."

Damn, I love that kid.

:D

Nice. The phone call from my wife would've went MUCH differently.

The first comment was "umm, were you gonna tell me we got a new game" and I said "nah, I knew Sam would tell you."

I then said thats what we traded Mortal Kombat for, and she was cool with it, ha.

nice.....

the 2 BROS gettin their mario on..... great picture right there! congrats jow on another great game. make sure to get the high score kit for this game too.

i think mario bros and joust are the 2 greatest 2-player games of all time (esp from the 1982 and older era). good choice my friend.

cool pic bro (seriously)

I had my 7 year old girl and 4 year old boy outside last night playing the superman I just picked up. I wish I would have taken a picture. It's the first time they really played any games together and loved it.
It took about 60 credits but they beat the game, I couldn't believe it.

Thanks buddy. Yeah, now that my boys (especially Sam) are old enough to enjoy/play these things, it makes the hobby so much better. My wife said to me this morning "you sure are back into the swing of things with your arcade games" and my response was "the kids make it way better."

Sam got home from school yesterday and saw the MB and the first thing out of his mouth was "THAT IS THE MOST AWESOMEST THING EVER!" You cant put a price on that, my man.
