For all you SoCal'ers...
There is a Tilt arcade that still operates in the Laguna Hills Mall. Back in the day, it was in a different location in the same mall and was just an excellent example of a mall arcade. These days it is in the back corner of the food court and has the normal few driving, light gun, fighting and redemption games; a shadow of it's former self but at least it still exists.
Anyway a couple of weeks ago I happened to walk by and notice inside a small row of EM pins!
They are all nicely restored and 100% working, lights and all. It's just not something you see every day and I thought I would share.
I spoke to the guy working there and he said the only reason that specific location is still open is that the lead tech for Tilt lives nearby and, If I understood correctly, all the repairs and testing for the chain happens in that mall. The pins are there because they are from the techs personal collection.
So if you pass by stop in and give the pins a couple of quarters, who knows maybe they see and interest and they will bring back some other classics. (I know, wishfull thinking
