Some of the guys brought me some things last saturday to add to my arcade. Hell I'm honored they were thinking of me enough to bring this stuff along.

Allen (alejandromad) gave me this really cool military radio. Perfect fit as an accessory to the Emergency Booth. Thanks Allen.

Another pic of the military radio. Fittingly enough, it sits next to a survival manual for downed pilots, which was actually owned by a real pilot at one time.

A cool old flashlight another friend gave to me

The Emergency Booth lit up with the new additions

Erik (zookeeper) gave me this cool industrial gas mask he picked up at a garage sale. The guy wanted $5, Erik offered him $2 and he took it! Thanks Erik

It is in the original case, never used. The original patent is from the 1920's, but I'm guessing this one is from the 40's or 50's.

Inside cover of the gas mask case: original instruction card. Cool!

A view of the mask. Everything is there, including extra parts for the filter.

Another shot of the mask. The case has done it's job over the years; the mask rubber is still perfectly pliable!

The canister is still wrapped in the original canvas sleeve, and still bears the original caution stickers and instructions on the canister body. In the case you also see the cloth filters for the mask (for use where the rubber filter tube meets the mask).

Sprint 2, which was picked up for me by Andre (rhombus) only 2 miles from his home. He brought it to my party and soldered up a couple of parts that worked themselves loose during the 2 hour trip here. It works fine. I've been wanting this game for a decade. Finally got a DRIVING game for The Lost Highway! Alan173 has been tutoring me on the monitor adjustment. Looks good now. Thanks Alan!

That booth is without a doubt the coolest thing i've seen on this site.
Well done!

Love it!

This has to be the only phone booth in the world where you can check for radiation, protect yourself from harmful vapors....talk on a military radio......measure decibel levels.....record a song......brush up on survival skills........measure Co2 levels.....and I think if you ask John.....there might be a phone in there as well to make a call! ;)

Great stuff......

Ahahahahaha, it does look that way. That knife switch begs to be thrown.

<Mother-in-law phone booth has RECORD SALES for 4th quarter 2011!!!>.....John may be on to something.....:)

Or maybe that would save my 11 hour drive so I could finally hit his next party? Damn.....I don't know how in the world I could build a custom phone booth on my end.....can you imagine the shopping list for that???
