cool 80s commercials (arcade related)

I seem to remember the Donkey Kong cereal being a lot like Capn Crunch. I can also remember eating the Pac-Man cereal, dressed in my Pac-Man PJs while watching the Pac-Man cartoon show on Saturday mornings.

Yes - They were playing A2600 Pacman on the Coleco console. I actually have my original CV and A2600 in storage in the basement.

CV had some cool games. I loved playing Sega Turbo with the steering wheel controller.

So the commodore 64 was associated with teen LSD trips?

I wonder if the commercials of today are going to look as bad in 30 years as the commercials from the 80's look now.

Those things look like they were directed, produced and acted out by kids.

Ugh....

I love the way the C3PO's cereal shows a breakfast layout and advertises: "A delicious part of this nutritious breakfast." Nice wordplay... never do they claim that the cereal itself is nutritious. They were probably referring to that orange. They certainly weren't talking about whatever is in that coffee mug.

"A delicious part of this nutritious breakfast."

That was very common in the 80s, I remember hearing this almost in every breakfast commercial.

Heh. That nintendo one was horrible. It reminded me of the Mario Bros show in the 80s with Lou Albano.

Anyone remember this futuristic show?
